Returns & Exchanges

La Casa Madge does not generally accept returns or exchanges for reasons other than a defect, damage, incorrect item, or other issue attributable to us, except where a return or cancellation right is required by applicable law.

If you believe an item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us at lcmweb@lacasamadge.com as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.

Where applicable law grants you a statutory right to cancel or return an order without giving a reason, such rights will remain unaffected by this policy.

For exchanges that are not required by law and are not due to a defect or an error on our part, availability is not guaranteed. Where an exchange is accepted, the simplest way to secure the desired item may be to return the original item and place a new order.

Return Conditions & Process

Before returning any item, please contact us at lcmweb@lacasamadge.com with your order number and the reason for your return request.

Items sent back without prior return instructions may not be accepted.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, returned items must be in their original condition, with all original tags attached, and must not show signs of wear, washing, alteration, misuse, or damage.

Where statutory withdrawal rights apply, you may inspect and try on an item to the extent reasonably necessary to assess its nature, characteristics, and fit. If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary, any reduction in value may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item is defective, damaged in transit, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us at lcmweb@lacasamadge.com and provide your order number together with clear photographs and any other information reasonably required to assess the issue.

Where the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, exchange, or refund.

Where required by applicable law, La Casa Madge will bear the reasonable shipping costs necessary to return a faulty or incorrect item and, where applicable, the reasonable cost of sending a replacement.

EU & UK Customers

Customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom may have a statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase without giving a reason within the period prescribed by applicable consumer law.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within the applicable statutory period by contacting lcmweb@lacasamadge.com.

Where a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right applies, you will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless applicable law requires otherwise or we have agreed to bear that cost.

Any statutory right to inspect or try on goods will remain unaffected. However, where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and fit of the goods.

This section does not limit any other mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

Refunds

Once a return has been received and processed, we will notify you of the outcome.

Where a refund is due, it will be issued to the original payment method in accordance with the time limits required by applicable law.

We may, where permitted by law, withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided satisfactory evidence that the goods have been sent back.

Depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, additional processing time may be required before the refund appears in your account.

Shipping, Duties & Taxes

For returns arising from a defect, damage, incorrect item, or other issue attributable to La Casa Madge, we will bear the shipping costs that we are required to bear under applicable law.

For returns or exchanges that are not caused by a defect or an error on our part, the customer is responsible for the applicable return shipping costs and, where an exchange is accepted, any applicable reshipping costs, except where otherwise required by law.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where reimbursement is required by applicable law. Where applicable law requires reimbursement of the original delivery charge, reimbursement may be limited to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order.

Import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other amounts paid directly to customs authorities, carriers, or other third parties are not collected by La Casa Madge and therefore cannot be refunded by us. Where applicable, customers may need to contact the relevant authority, carrier, or service provider directly to request reimbursement.

Where duties or taxes have been collected directly by La Casa Madge, any refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant tax and customs rules.

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
