the Samora Gilet
the Samora Gilet
The Samora Gilet is s sage-green, whisper-soft vest. Inside, a whisper-weight 60-count cotton breathes like a newborn leaf, its weave as fine as the first tender veins. Outside, the face fabric carries a subtle grain that feels like aged paper warmed by a patient hand. Four bodhi-seed buttons—each one a small planet of time—fasten the front: one the deep brown of riverbank earth, one the pale umber of winter branches, one mottled with lichen, one milk-white as dawn dew.
Sage-green has always lived in the LA CASA MADGE palette: a low-saturation green steeped in morning mist, the hush of downy shoots just released from their pods. It pairs with every quiet shade of the earth—terracotta, moss, oat-grey—without ever raising its voice.
Tailored to skim, not cling, the cut feels both relaxed and exacting.
How to wear the Samora Gilet:
• Over the Taide full skirt: like vines climbing an ancient urn, rustic yet newly versed.
• With the Patrizia trousers: become a haystack walking through wild country.
• With the Qunzia trousers in river-green: a seamless modulation from tundra to tide.
• In autumn and winter, let it slip beneath a trench or blazer, allowing just three centimetres of sage at the collar—an understated bloom that cuts through the grey of colder days.
